The Era is 1969. After Nat Young shocked many by becoming the world surfing champion in 1966, Americas best surfers from Windensea Club came to Australia to compete against Australias best. This documentary was financed by the Wind and Sea Surf Club. The nine-member group travels to Australia for a rematch against their Aussie counterparts with stops at Fiji and New Zealand. The world-class surfers are shown riding the waves of the most coveted locales, hanging ten on 30-foot waves in spectacular action footage. Jay North provides the narration to this exciting action feature.
Music: Harry Betts - Betts pop orchestra attempts a blend of surf and psychedelia for this film from 1969.
