Longboard - It was the summer of ???67 and although we didn???t know it then, it was the end of an era. We were riding boards in the 9???6 range and the latest design innovation was the lightweight, high-performance board, some as light as 22 pounds. But there were design changes brewing that would, within one year, rock the sport and the industry to its very foundation. But we didn???t know or care about that. All we cared about was a glassy morning and some waves shared with some friends. Join filmmaker Bill Yerkes as he documents the glassy mornings, sunny days, and the contest scene in the summer of ???67. Travel to Puerto Rico for the winter and see some of the first footage of surfing on that island featuring hot locals and visiting surfers
